SOFTWARE RERUIREMENT SPECIFICATION

PURPOSE
Electronic Shop Management software helps Electronic showrooms owners and management staff by producing different kind of financial and stock tracking reports, etc. This software is able to manage all electronic stocks i.e; Television, Radio, Computers, DVD Players, etc. In this software shop owner can manage the data of customer and buyers. Also tax information and other government charges including recycle charges.
INTRODUCTION
SRS is a document that completely describes what the proposed software should do without describing how the software will do it. The basic purpose of SRS is to bridge the communication gap between the parties involved in the development of the software SRS is the medium through which the client and the user needs are accurately specified. A good SRS should satisfy all the parties some thing very hard to achieve and involves trade offs and persuasion. Another important purpose of developing an SRS is helping the users to understand their own needs.
SCOPE
Hence six types of data can be imported into inFlow: Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Products, Customers, Vendors, and Inventory.
The project provides the following facilities to the customers.
  • Print out option is used to take purchase billing order.
  • Accurate billing date and Time
The project provides the following facilities to the administrators.
  • It tracks products with serial numbers.
  • Creating a Purchase Order
  • Entering Product Information
  • Creating a Sales Order
The project provides the following facilities to the companies.

OVERVIEW
Electronic Shop Management Software is application software utility that efficiently maintain the inventory of the Electronic Showroom. This software is capable of recording details of sales and purchase order. Similarly keeps track of expenses and income of the company. This billing accounting software can be used to generate various reports including Item, Ledger, Sales order, Purchase order and Expenses ledger and more.
2. OVERALL DESCRIPTION
2.1 System Environment
This software is totally self contained and works relatively as efficient as other packages related to the subject. It provides simple database rather than complex ones for high requirements and it provides good and easy graphical user interface to both new as well as experienced user of the computer.
2.2 PRODUCT FUNCTIONS
  • The user can take print out of sales and purchase billing order.

  • The operations like edit, delete, print and view has been provided to user to efficiently manage the software.

The system should have windows XP operating system. This project works well in PCs having Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008 installed properly.

This project works to cover the needs of the customer. The product is user-friendly.

Electronic shop keeps track of various different types of business data, including your products, customers, vendors, and inventory status.

A count sheet can be used to record the counted quantities. After everything is counted, stock adjustments can be made to the software to correct discrepancies found during the count.

  • Good working pc with all requirements stated above.
  • Should not be overloaded.

The Electronic Shop Management System shall be a stand-alone system running in a Windows
environment

Reliability : The system shall be available 99.9% of the time.
Maintainability : The system shall provide the capability to backup the database
Portability : The Electronic Shop Management System shall run in any Microsoft Windows environment that contains VB.NET Programming and the Microsoft SQL Server Database.
